Today on the Follower of One Podcast, Mike got to sit down with Jane Trapman who is a multi-published creative author, writing the series “Jels.” She also runs a creative online writing course and founded “Born to Fly,” a Christian entrepreneurship online community.

Outline of the Episode

  • 7:01 – Why “Born to Fly” was started
  • 8:11 – The importance of Biblical goals
  • 10:52 – How God uses people’s unique stories to connect with others

The origins of “Born to Fly”

Born to Fly was created out of a desire to have a community of Christian entrepreneurs and business owners. Jane wanted to have a community of Christ-followers to pray with and navigate starting a business with, so Born to Fly was created.

The importance of Biblical Goals

Biblical goals are essential for Christ-following business owners. Setting Biblical goals allows for these entrepreneurs to further their businesses for the Lord’s glory. You also don’t have to be a business owner to have Biblical goals, an example of this is reading your Bible every day.

How the Lord uses unique stories to share the Gospel

The Lord uses his follower’s unique stories to bring others to Him. The Lord will use his people’s past experiences to connect with unbelievers, because every person’s story is different, and using similar experiences allows for deeper connections to be built.
