God initiates His work in us. This passage is a great reminder. Mike came across this passage years after he had memorized 1 Corinthians 1:27-29. God gave us our assignment and the freedom to turn Him down. We can choose to tell Him no. Or we can join Him using His wisdom, to become His righteousness, gain His sanctification and experience his redemption. When we join Jesus and live in the assignment He gave us, we experience His joy. Walk with Him today and watch His joy become visible to those around you.
